Selling Art for the Untouchables

Sat Mar 14, 2009, 5:43 PM
A few of my friends are doing a 50km walk to help the Untouchable/Dalit children of India. The Dalits are the lowest in the Hindu caste system, and are consigned to live their lives in hopeless poverty. Gospel for Asia sets up school programs for these children to help them break the poverty cycle, while introducing them to a Creator and God that loves them.

I am donating 100% of the profits from selling art, from now until June 20, to this cause. If you like my art, please consider buying, and note me/email me at curiousmoth (AT) gmail.com if you are interested. Postage is not included in any of these prices.

PRINTS
I have high-quality A4 prints of the following for sale at $15AUD (approximately $10USD) each. They are on heavy cream card, and some of them look better than my original!
+ The Matryoshka's Daughter
+ Songs for Swamp Creatures
+ Cats of Midnight Forest
+ Drowning without Water

I haven't been visiting this website very often, but I am really thankful to the people who still visit and I read every comment you post. THANK YOU!

Things that Inspire You & PRINTS

Sun Jan 4, 2009, 10:33 PM
Sad things made beautiful. Jazz music in anime. Creative book destruction. Wild forgotten places. Stingray migrations.

My Father's love.

What inspires you?

(This journal should also be titled 'What I've been doing instead of drawing' ... thank you to everyone who keeps visiting my page while I am searching for inspiration & wondering why I draw.)

Prints for Sale!
I am now selling A4 prints of recent artworks for $15 Australian Dollars ($10USD) each. For more details and photographs, please look HERE and send me a message if you are interested.

Odd Things That You Collect

:iconshipuku: :iconcuriousmoth:

For me, I always collect small things (like badges, keychains, pompoms, little boxes, ink bottles etc). I think this is why all my drawings are so tiny...

Exhibition!
Because of your votes, my artwork was noticed by the General Pants staff. Prints of my drawings will be on display at the new General Pants store in Bourke Street, Melbourne. This is the first time I have ever had my drawings exhibited. THANK YOU!

Questions on Christianity You Have & THANK YOU

Post them.

To learn how to begin a relationship with God, click here.

I am a Christian and if I can I will try to answer them for you, although I don't know the answers to every question. Also you are welcome to reply to other people, but insults/flames from anyone will be deleted.

(PS: you can also ask things like 'Did Adam & Eve have belly buttons?' -- I don't mind!)

Thank you so much for looking at my drawings and commenting on them. I am sorry I think I post more journals than art :(. I study a non-art degree at university, and spend all my time (it feels like it) reading~!

ALSO: Thank you so much for the Daily Deviation feature ^stigmatattoo, and also to everyone else who viewed my artwork since then! I am at university right now so I will have to respond to all the lovely comments a bit later, unfortunately~

I'm so happy people like my drawings, but I can't take credit for the abilities I have, it's only because I am blessed with the time and energy to develop them by God. I'm so privileged that I have such an opportunity to share what I do with all of you. :D

Jobs You Wanted as a Kid

What was it? (I wanted to be an archaeologist :D)

Some of my friends have asked about prints/commissions. As a result I might be making limited sets of prints in the future. So if you would like a particular artwork, please tell me! (As for commissions, I very rarely do them~ because I have trouble drawing what someone else wants unless I also have an interest in it. Sorry~~~)

Thank you for all the comments and stuff~~ Sorry for not posting. These holidays I drew a lot, but a lot of it was quite bad...All the artworks on this website are very inspiring, though!

PS: This is really cool [link]
